Here is a list of 15 K-Pop songs with chill vibes. Some are more chill hip hop whereas others are more like ballads. Either way these songs are great for creating a relaxing atmosphere when you aren't in the mood for aggressive or sugary sweet bops.

UN Village by Baekhyun

I am slowly coming to appreciate Exo more and more and, thanks to me discovering his vlogs, Baekhyun is probably my favourite of the group.

I have listened to the rest of his mini album 'City Lights' multiple times and would definitely recommend giving it a listen if you like this genre of music. 'Betcha' is another bop but UN village is unmatchable in my opinion, the opening of the song in particular is very strong and iconic.

Be Calm by Hwasa

I would definitely say my housemates are much bigger fans of Mamamoo than me, however I do like a fair few of their songs and can name the members (most of the time haha).

This song is just so relaxing, I love the guitar and Hwasa's vocals.

So far away by Agust D (ft SURAN)

I found it hard to pick between this version and the version with Jin and Jungkook, however I felt it was best to pick the original.

I love the overall vibe of this song and especially the guitar that comes in closer to the end. While I love the BTS version, I really love Suran's voice, I think it really suits the song.

These lyrics are incredibly emotional and vulnerable. Therefore making the song a lot more meaningful.

Been Through by EXO

Again, not being a huge EXO fan, this one of the only B-Sides I know and like by them.

This song is slow and simple, showcasing the member's vocals. The lyrics are also hopeful and uplifting.

YESTODAY by NCT U

I feel like this song is so underrated. I watched the video over and over when it came out. I was a new NCT fan and I fell in love with the colours and visuals in the music video.

The song itself has so much style, and what a line up! Taeyong, Doyoung, Mark and Lucas! The layering of vocals gives the song such a dreamy vibe. I wouldn't change a thing about this song and I wish more people gave it the attention it deserves.

Serendipity by BTS Jimin

I loved this song when it was just an intro. So you can imagine the look on my face when I heard the full length version for the first time.

This song can put me to sleep ( I mean that in the best way possible.) The synth in the background of this song is reminiscent of waves ebbing and flowing, Jimin's voice is so soft and heavenly and the light guitar that comes in is beautiful. Don't even get me started on the high note. Ugh. This song is a masterpiece.

Bonnie & Clyde by Dean

Okay, onto a more hip hop style song. I went through a phase of just listening to this song on repeat. I really like songs like this.

I don't really have anything else to say about this song I just thought I should include it since at one point I was obsessed with it.

No longer by NCT 127

This song has strong disney love ballad vibes. You can hear by the passion in their voices that this is a heart breaking song of longing.

The live version that I have linked is breathtaking. I will never get over how talented NCT are. Like wow.

4 O'Clock by BTS RM and V

This song. is. so. beautiful. It's soft and slow and, to me, sounds like a lullaby. Namjoons vocals in this song make me so upset he doesn't sing more. This song sung by any other two people just wouldn't be the same.

Different by Woodz

This is one of those songs that creates an atmosphere when you listen to it. It almost sounds echoey at the beginning.

I love the moment around the middle of the song where he starts rapping really fast, it keeps the song interesting.

The high vocals in the background are catchy and get stuck in your head and the lead up to the chorus is such a good build up and release.

Sun & Moon by NCT 127

I love this song. Obviously I love it otherwise it wouldn't be on this list but ugh it has such a V I B E to it.

It's so hard to describe but for me when I really like a song I can usually picture myself listening to it on a road trip, the windows down, a warm breeze in my hair, the sun just setting behind beautiful scenery.

You'll either understand or think I'm a complete weirdo, but oh well. This song is amazing.

The Truth Untold by BTS

Hello did somebody say heartbreaking power ballad?: The Truth Untold.

The BTS vocal line is here to serve you some fresh F E E L S.

When I first heard this song and Jungkook softly sing 'but I still want you' you better believe I got punched in the gut.

No amount of rambling will ever do this song justice so please just listen if you haven't.

Dream in a dream by NCT U Ten

This song is very much dreamy like the title suggests. It is largely instrumental with a strong baseline. It sounds very traditionally asian with a modern twist.

I have listened to this song on repeat while writing an essay before, it is very easy to listen to and in my experience impossible to get sick of.

The music video and choreo are also stunning and fit the song very well.

Blue side by JHope

Such a chill song, my only complaint is that it isn't longer. The windchimes and ambient sounds are so cool to me.

Someone put ocean noises over the top of this song and let me tell you. Perfection.

Moonchild by RM

I would describe this song as chill hip hop. I love the uplifting lyrics, strong bass and hip hop beat.

Honestly check out the entirety of 'mono' if you haven't. It still amazes how members of BTS can make whole ass mixtapes in between their extremely busy schedules and making music as a band. Their hard work and passion knows no bounds.

Honourable mention: Sea by BTS

This song is incredibly emotional and I couldn't leave it out.

BTS have been through so much together not just as a band but as a sort of family. This song usually gives me a lump in my throat everytime I listen to it. Obviously it means a lot more to me being such a big fan of BTS than it would to someone who doesn't know them but I still believe regardless of context it is still a beautiful and calming song.
