So I thought I would show you guys some of my favourite music videos, they aren't in any particular order, I just listed them as I went along:

1) DDU DU DDU DU

2 ) Highway To Heaven

3) Monster

4) Whistle

5) Starry Night

6) Wake Me Up

7) Bad Boy

8) Shine Forever

9) Fake Love

10) Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)

So, I realised that as I was making this list, most of the songs that appeared in my top 20 are here too. However, yes, they are great songs, but they are here because I like the music videos. I am sure these will change at some point but for now, these ones are my favourite.

DDU DU DDU DU - BLACKPINK

Firstly, I love the cute Fennec Fox that Jennie holds in the massive chair in the beginning of the MV (it’s adorable). This is followed by one of my favourite scenes in this video, Lisa with 3 different outfits looking great in all of them. I always remember the part of the MV where Lisa is holding the sword, as well as when she holds the BLACKPINK light stick (this is because I really like Lisa in glasses skskskssk). Another part that I love is where Jennie rides on a glittery tank eating popcorn, this scene is so sassy and bad ass. The build up to the beat break and the beat break its self, is another reason why I love this MV so much. I like this scene because of the vibrant colours and lights surrounding the members when performing the last bit of the song. It just looks aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. Anyway, for you to understand my crazy talk you will have to watch the video.

Highway To Heaven - NCT 127

Which brings me to the next video, Highway to heaven. This very simple to explain why it’s in my top 10. This is purely because of the aesthetics in the MV, their visuals are great, and the backgrounds are amazing too. I am a sucker for black and white videos and photos, so I am automatically drawn to it. I love photography and I really like how they have laid out the music video. My favourite bit of the MV is where they blend the background into the members. Let’s just say the MV will explain itself.

Monster - EXO

Monster has always been one of my favourite MV’s because of the lighting and action in the video. I have always had a preference for this because I have always enjoyed action films and fighting scenes, so when it’s in a music video, I will always enjoy it. Another thing I like about the video is the blue/purple lighting in the scenes, I am always drawn to subtle but bold colours in music videos, it’s something I will always look out for. What I have gathered from this video (whether it is correct) is that they are rebelling in some way, which I think is a cool concept in the music video.

Whistle - BLACKPINK

The main reason I like the music video for Whistle is because of the setting and the colours in the music video, as well as the weird camera angles. The music video a mixture of colours in different scenes, but they all go together well. One of my favourite scenes is of Rosé floating in space and sitting on top of the world; as well as the random ass scene of Jennie on a horse.

Starry Night - MAMAMOO

Starry Night is in my top 10 because of how beautiful the scenery is in the music video. The way the music video is filmed really shows off the scenery of New Zealand, probably doesn’t help that I really want to go there. But who wouldn’t, is so pretty! My favourite scene (which is hard to pick because I love them all), would be where MAMAMOO are all walking on the beach towards the end of the MV. Again, the music video is self-explanatory in this case.

Wake Me Up is another music video that I like because of the darkness and story line through out it. To me the music video describes people that are having a hard time for different reasons and how they can overcome it in the end.

Bad Boy - Red Velvet

Bad boy is another video I am drawn too just because of the colours and lighting in the video, as well as the visuals of the group. The whole video gives of bad ass vibes in each scene. There isn’t much to explain for this one, so go check it out.

Shine Forever - MONSTA X

The music video for Shine Forever I like because it also tells a story. As well as this, it has great scenes throughout the video (e.g. the car crash). The different scenes of woodland, lakes, fog covered fields and cliffs is really intriguing to me. However, my favourite scene is at the end of the MV where they are surrounded by white lights, and when the camera focuses on the eye right at the end.

Fake Love - BTS

Fake Love is an interesting music video that shows different stories of each of the members. I am aware that all of their music videos make one big story of different characters with various problems in their lives. My favourite scene in this music video is the scene where Jung Kook is running, and the floor falls beneath him. As well as, when there is a massive fire in front of Suga and he is just chilling in the chair casually.

Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) - BTS

The Mic Drop (Remix) MV I like because of the visuals and scenes in the video. I always think of the scene where Suga is rapping in a red room and Jimin and Jung Kook are in mid-air, falling in slow motion. I really like the colour of that scene as its so bright and bold.

So, It’s not much of an evaluation but more of a brief statement as to why I like these music videos the most. I hope you have understood what I have said about the music videos, if not make sure you watch them so that it all makes sense sksksksk.
